Deleting your account

You can delete your Bamba! account and everything in it whenever you like. We will not ask why, offer you a discount, or make you wait.

From inside the app (fastest)

Open Bamba! and go to Settings → Your details → Delete my account. Confirm once. It happens immediately.

By email

Write to support@bambafish.com from the address your account uses, with the subject DELETE MY ACCOUNT. We will confirm within 7 days.

What gets deleted

Your profile and display name, your username, your logged catches and their photos, your saved spots and notes, your trips, everything you shared to the community feed, your likes, and your buddy connections.

What lingers, and for how long

Encrypted database backups roll over within 30 days, so your data may persist in a backup for a short time after it disappears from the app. Anonymous usage counts - which are never tied to you - are not affected. If a post of yours was reported and is part of a safety record, we may keep the minimum required to meet a legal obligation, and nothing else.

Deleting an under-18's account

A parent or guardian can ask us to delete a teenager's account by email, and we will. See the page for parents.
