The deal

Bamba! helps you log catches, save spots, check conditions and share with fellow anglers. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

How old you have to be

At least 13. If you are between 13 and 18, you also confirm that a parent or guardian knows you use Bamba! and agrees to these terms on your behalf. If you are under 13 you may not have an account, and if we find one we will close it.

Be a good sport

No abusive, hateful, sexual or dangerous content - in posts, captions, names or anywhere else. Nothing involving children in any sexual context, ever; see the Child Safety page. Content is filtered and moderated, anyone can report a post, and a reported post is hidden immediately. You can also block another angler, which is just for you and tells them nothing. Accounts that break these rules can be suspended or removed.

Your content

Your catches, photos and words remain yours. By sharing to the Community feed you give us permission to display that content inside the app, and nowhere else. You promise your uploads are your own and break no law.

Fishing information

Weather, water checks, venue details and catch-chance ratings are estimates built from public research and public data. They are opinion, not gospel - conditions on the water differ, venues change their rules, and you fish at your own discretion. Always check the current rules for the water you are on.

Bamba! Pro

Some features require a paid subscription or a one-time purchase, handled entirely by the app stores. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in your store account, and prices are shown before you buy. A free trial, where offered, is not the full Pro feature set - the differences are listed in the app before you start it.

No warranty

The app is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free, and we are not liable for losses arising from its use to the extent the law allows.

The legal bits

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; meaningful changes will be announced in the app.
